President:

In 1931, twenty Union Members were called by Reverend Timothy Boddie to form what became the Queen Esther Circle.

Mrs. Rama H. Greene was the first president, a position which she held for over forty years with boundless energy and commitment to service. Gary Rodwell become the second president, and continued to lead with the same type of dedication and vision.

Purpose of Queen Esther Circle

1. To have members realize their Christian potential and their roles as members of the body of Christ.
2. To have members further enhance their Christian relationships through love and fellowship experiences with the circle and through Church wide activities
3. To encourage members to assist Union Baptist Church fulfill its role as a "Servant" Church;
4. To support the ministries of the church financially and through volunteerism; and
5. To continue our legacy of recognizing each other's achievements, and bearing each other burdens.
